In the past, I took my style tips from Sex in the City. After it went off the air I turned to my very stylish girlfriends. I watched, accepted hand me downs and took them shopping w me…..until I found Liz Finkelstein and Mile High Style. Liz not only took me shopping, she taught me about style. I now have an understanding of how to make a look work for me, not Carrie Bradshaw. Additionally, where I used to stand in my closet for way too long trying to find something to put together, I now consult the list of outfits she customized for me. I feel more confident and cool. Am I too old to place emphasis on cool? Nah! Finally, if you thought style had to take a backseat to parenting, think again. I may not have the time but my look isn’t suffering!
